Pastor Billy Joe Watts
Pastor Billy Joe Watts is the Pastor of The Rock Church, and the President of Billy Joe Watts Ministries, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a founding member of the John C. Maxwell Leadership Team and travels extensively teaching leadership development, the ministry of helps, church seminars, Life-Coaching, and keynote speaking.
Pastor Watts is a former professor and pastor of a nationally recognized bible college and helped to train over 20,000+ pastors and leaders. His background in Public Relations and advertising and minor in marketing, have equipped him to strengthen local churches, businesses, sports teams, and an array of individuals.
With a keen insight in the Real Estate business, Ministry, and the Motivational industry, Rev. Watts has helped countless people and organizations to maximize their potential and to “Develop the you in you.” He is a favorite youth speaker and conference contributor and you will enjoy his candid and humorous style of ministry. He and his wife, Theresa, of 43 years, have also enjoyed men’s and women’s ministry times together as well as a plethora of other opportunities around the world.
He is a graduate of Prairie View A & M University with a BA degree in Communications, specializing in Public Relations, with a minor in Marketing. He is also a graduate of RHEMA Bible College with a Certificate of Pastoral and Evangelistic Ministry, a trained mentor, coach, and speaker with the John C. Maxwell Leadership Team.

Pastor Theresa Watts
Raised by a single mother who loved God, Pastor Theresa Watts grew up in the Baptist church surrounded by the prayers and spiritual influence of her grandmother and great-grandmother. Their faith, love, and prayers helped shape the woman of God and ministry leader she is today.
Born Theresa Bullard on February 15, 1961, in Houston, Texas, Pastor Theresa attended Prairie View A&M University, earning a degree in Communications in 1983. While in college, she met Pastor Billy Joe Watts in the spring of 1981. Their friendship grew into a lifelong partnership, and they married on July 23, 1983.
Together, Pastor Billy Joe and Pastor Theresa have three children—Billy Joe Jr., Kendra, and Brittany—and more than 40 years of marriage and ministry. In September 2007, they planted The Rock Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, beginning with 44 people and a simple, powerful mission: Serving God and Loving People.
Pastor Theresa has a special passion for healing and reaching the whole woman—spirit, soul, and body. Through her own experiences and years of ministering to others, she has witnessed the faithfulness of God and the transforming power of His Word.
With this passion, she founded Just Us Girls, an outreach of The Rock Church designed to encourage and minister to women in every area of their lives. Through Bible study, fitness, fellowship, book discussions, and meaningful conversations, women are encouraged to grow spiritually, strengthen relationships, and become all God has called them to be.
Known for her authenticity, transparency, and ability to connect God’s Word to everyday life, Pastor Theresa uses personal experiences and heartfelt stories to encourage others. Her ministry brings laughter, reflection, tears, and renewed faith while pointing people back to the greatness and faithfulness of God.
One of the truths she carries and shares is that God is a “BIG God and the devil is a little, bitty devil.” Her life and ministry continue to reflect that confidence in God.
